THERMOSAF STRUCTURAL INSULATED PANELS
Structural Insulated Panels (SIP's) are also commonly called sandwich panels, and have a layer of insulation between two layers of protective outer skin, often made of coated steel for durability and structural strength.
The use of sandwich panels in modern construction is gaining popularity for good reason:
Steel-clad sandwich panels have been used for modular structures for over 40 years, particularly in the cold storage sector. Their on-going use proves the functionality of sandwich panels in providing creative solutions for the construction sector. The buildings are energy-efficient requiring less energy to heat or cool, and are easy to maintain. Many structures have been used for 20 years and more with little expenditure.
Insulated panels are also widely used for clean rooms, packing houses, controlled atmosphere storage facilities, prefabricated buildings and low cost housing. They are also increasingly used in the construction of class rooms, offices, clinics, barracks and mining infrastructure where energy supply is limited.
